Magnesium chloride 99.9% pure

Fine crystalline powder, chemically pure, can be used internally and externally
For making magnesium oil or for foot baths (33g in 4 liters of lukewarm water)

Magnesium chloride can be applied topically as magnesium oil
It controls and activates over 300 enzymes.

How concentrated can magnesium chloride be dissolved in water?

Since around 60% of people have a magnesium deficiency, Dr. Sircus recommended 700 mg or more magnesium per day.
This requires 700 x 8.47 = 5.93 g of magnesium chloride.
Since magnesium chloride dissolves well in water, the concentration can be made to any desired strength.

How do I calculate the magnesium content of magnesium oil?

Magnesium chloride contains 11.8% pure magnesium, the rest is chlorine.
It is usually recommended to use approx. 30 g of magnesium chloride in 1 liter. to dissolve water. This corresponds to an approximately 3% magnesium chloride solution, which is called magnesium oil because it has an oily effect on the skin. This solution contains approximately 3.5 g of pure magnesium. If this amount is dissolved in 1 liter of water, 1 ml contains approx. 3.% mg magnesium.

How do you notice a magnesium deficiency?

10 signs to watch out for

Do you have muscle cramps, facial twitches, sleep disorders or chronic pain?
Then read on, it's worth making sure you're getting enough magnesium.
Less than 30% of adults in the West get the recommended daily dose of magnesium. And almost 20% only get half the magnesium they need.
You can get tested in a laboratory, and they should have more than just blood serum tested. The magnesium is supposed to be present in the cells.

You can also answer a few questions about your lifestyle and pay attention to signs and signals of low magnesium levels.

Magnesium chloride foot bath has proven to be very good for problems with bunions (Hallux vagus). Add 33g magnesium chloride to 4L lukewarm water, duration: 15-20min.

1. Do you regularly drink carbonated water or sodas?

Most dark sodas contain phosphates. These combine with magnesium in the intestines and make it inaccessible to the body. Even if you eat a balanced diet, as soon as you drink lemonade, you lose magnesium.

2. Do you regularly eat pastries, cakes, desserts, sweets or other sugary foods?

Refined sugar is not only a product without magnesium, but also causes the kidneys to excrete magnesium. When producing sugar, the molasses - and thus the magnesium it contains - is completely removed. That's why it's better to take molasses as a sweetener.
Sugar doesn't just lower magnesium levels. Nutritionists call sweet foods “anti-nutrients.” Sweets remove valuable nutrients during digestion, resulting in a net loss. The more sweet foods and processed baked goods you eat, the more likely you are to be deficient in magnesium and other vital nutrients.

3. Have you had a lot of stress or recently had a major medical procedure such as surgery?

Stress can be a cause of magnesium deficiency, which in turn increases the stress response. Studies have linked adrenaline and cortisol, byproducts of the "fight or flight" response associated with stress and anxiety, to decreased magnesium levels
Because more magnesium is used by the body under stressful conditions, such conditions can lead to deficiency, including psychological and physical forms of stress such as surgery, burns and chronic illness.

4. Do you drink coffee, tea or other caffeinated drinks?

Magnesium levels are controlled by the kidneys, which filter out excess magnesium and other minerals. Caffeine causes the kidneys to release more magnesium. If you regularly drink caffeinated drinks such as coffee, tea and cola, the risk of magnesium deficiency increases.
You may want to switch to cocoa, preferably unroasted sugar-free raw cocoa or organic matcha.

5. Are you taking diuretics, birth control pills, heart, estrogen replacement, or asthma medications?

Certain medications lower magnesium levels through excretion through the kidneys. To do this, ask the medical person you trust who has prescribed such medication for you.

6. Do you drink alcohol several times a week?

The effect of alcohol on magnesium levels is comparable to the effect of diuretics: it reduces the magnesium available to the cells by increasing magnesium excretion via the kidneys. Studies have shown that 30% of alcoholics have a clinical magnesium deficiency.
Increased alcohol consumption also contributes to reduced performance of the digestive system and vitamin D deficiency. This can also contribute to low magnesium levels.

7. Do you take calcium and magnesium in a ratio of less than 1:1?

While a calcium supplement can have negative effects on magnesium levels, a magnesium supplement improves the body's use of calcium. Although many reports suggest taking calcium to magnesium in a 2:1 ratio, this is somewhat arbitrary. The ideal ratio depends on the risk factors, which are different for everyone.
Nutritionists now recommend a 1:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium for bones, teeth and especially for the blood vessels, which have an increased risk of arterial calcification in the event of a magnesium deficiency if a low magnesium content is accompanied by a high calcium intake.
Please note that it is usually NOT necessary to take supplemental calcium if you eat a lot of dairy products such as yogurt and cheese. The harder the cheese, the more calcium it provides.

Important mineral for diabetes

Magnesium is needed for insulin to work. A deficiency leads to insulin resistance. In combination with zinc and chromium, magnesium is an essential mineral for diabetics. Loss of these three minerals can increase the risk of insulin resistance.
