Pelargonium (geranium), root, ground.
Pelargonium, native to South Africa, called Umckaloabo by Zulu shamans, contains substances that can relieve viruses and infections. Ground geranium root or pelargonium root powder was already recommended by Hildegard von Bingen against influenza and severe coughs, as it dilates the airways and thus facilitates breathing.
Preparation
Add 1.3 g (about 1 mocha spoon) of the geranium root powder per liter to briefly boiled water. Cover and steep on low heat for about 10-15 minutes.
Drink 1-2 liters throughout the day.
The finished tea can be stored in the refrigerator for several days, preferably in the Flaska. Do not boil or store in aluminum pots or pots containing tin. Sweeten with erythritol or even better probiotic with yacon syrup.
