The leaves are carefully picked by hand so as not to harm the trees, because if the leaves are picked one by one on the stem with a lot of feeling to the back, the leaves will grow back. The people from the organic growing farm take only the mature, full-bodied leaves in their full vigor, they cut them one by one and very carefully. Only then the new young leaf, which is already there in the beginning, is not injured and can grow. This is very important, because otherwise they hurt the tree. And a graviola tree takes a very long time to bear fruit and leaves in sufficient numbers.
This work is tedious because you can hardly climb the trees. The trunks are rather thin and the branches hardly bendable, so you have to approach the leaves from the outside. The trees grow very slowly, so it takes at least 10 years before the first harvest is reasonably possible.
The leaves are gently dried in the shade to preserve the annona active ingredients. This also keeps the leaves greener.
The trees grow wild in the jungle and also in the villages. Since the locals themselves live from the forest and their own cultivation, no one would think of using environmentally harmful sprays here, because they would harm themselves with it.

Should you decide at home, as a free citizen in a free country, to "abuse" your Graviola fragrant potpourri in a different way, e.g. as a tea, you can sweeten it with erythritol or, even better, probiotically refine it with yacon syrup, as it has a low glycemic index. The finished tea can be stored in the refrigerator for several days, preferably in the Flaska. Do not boil or store in aluminum pots or pots containing tin.
We recommend using Lapacho tea in addition.
