Certified organic Blueberries, whole

natural, tested for residues

The abundant vitamins C and E contained in blueberries make them a beauty food.
The contained vitamin E is THE beauty vitamin. Both vitamins are well-known antioxidants and scavenge free radicals. Thus, they strengthen the immune system.
In addition, our freeze-dried certified organic blueberries contain large amounts of vitamin A, B1, B2 and beta-carotene. It has an antibacterial effect and inhibits the attachment of bacteria to our cells.

They taste delicious in Greek yogurt, with muesli, in smoothies or prepared as ice cream.

You can also prepare a tea beneficial for the intestines from them, pour five grams (1 tsp) with a cup of cold water, heat gently (do not boil!) and let it simmer gently for ten minutes, a tea with which you can relieve diarrhea.
Due to their tannins and colorants, our dried certified organic blueberries inhibit bacterial growth, especially when taken unsweetened.
But also a beneficial effect on the blood vessels is under discussion. For this reason, medicines have been developed to treat blood circulation problems in the eye, with altered permeability of the blood capillaries with an active ingredient from the blueberries ? anthocyanins ? to correct these problems.

In the case of oral and mucosal diseases, aqueous extracts of bilberry are also recognized as an anti-inflammatory agent.
For fresh blueberries or extracts enriched with anthocyanins a positive effect is indicated with venous blood circulation disturbances with heaviness feeling in the legs.

Recent studies show a slight reduction in systolic blood pressure in cases of slightly elevated blood pressure.
In folk medicine, bilberries are used internally for vomiting and bleeding, but also in the treatment of hemorrhoids. Thus, it is claimed that application of 2 bowls of tea from bilberries drunk daily for 3-4 weeks brings the inflammation of hemorrhoids to subside.

Treatment of inflammatory skin diseases with compresses of blueberry tea is also common in folk medicine.

The leaves of bilberry are also widely used in folk medicine; from cough to stomach and bladder diseases to the treatment of diabetes mellitus, dried bilberry leaves are used. The cause of the lowering of the blood sugar level is controversial; the high chromium value in the leaves is discussed. Because of the side effects that occur, therapy with blueberry leaves is not medically justifiable and should therefore be rejected.

Tea preparation: 3 heaped tablespoons of dried blueberries are poured over 1/2 l of cold water, heated to boiling, left to boil for 10 min and strained. This preparation is drunk unsweetened in bowls throughout the day. The daily dose of blueberries is 20-60 g.
